1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tuitionbd.org, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this platform.
2. Platform Services
Tuitionbd.org/facebook.com/tuitionbdorg provides a platform to connect tutors and students. We do not directly hire tutors or provide tuition services. Users are responsible for ensuring the suitability and legality of any engagements formed via the platform.
3. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if younger.
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Misrepresentation of identity or credentials will result in account termination.
4. Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors must provide valid academic qualifications and experience details upon registration.
Tutors are solely responsible for the content and quality of the lessons provided.
Any inappropriate behavior, misconduct, or breach of ethics will lead to immediate removal from the platform.
5. Student Responsibilities
Students (or their guardians) must ensure payments are made on time and adhere to the agreed schedules.
Any disputes with tutors must first be reported to Tuitionbd.org.
6. Payment and Refund Policy
Payments for tuition services are agreed upon between the tutor and the student. “We do not charge any fees to guardians or students.”
Service Charge/Mathching Fee: We charge only 50% of first month’s salary, if paid within 5 days of confirmation. If delayed till first pay, we charge total 60%. In that case, 500/1000 BDT must be paid within 3 days of confirmation and rest of the 60% after receiving first salary.
Refund Policy:
If a tuition is canceled within one month or less due to personal reasons of the guardian (such as relocation, financial issues, family problems, etc.), a service charge of 25% of the total payable fee will apply. If canceled after 1.5 months, the service charge will be 30%. For cancellations after 2 months, the charge will be 40%, and after 2.5 months, it will be 45%. If the tuition continues for more than this duration, the regular charge will be 50% or 60%.
Note:
If the teacher cancels the tuition for personal reasons, the refund policy will not apply.
7. Code of Conduct
All users must:
Act respectfully and professionally toward others.
Avoid discrimination, harassment, or abusive language.
Not engage in unauthorized promotion or solicitation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content provided on Tuitionbd.org is the intellectual property of Tuitionbd.org or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Users must not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without explicit permission.
9. Privacy Policy
Your personal information will be handled as per our Privacy Policy, which is accessible on the website. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitations of Liability
Tuitionbd.org is a facilitator and is not liable for:
Disputes arising between tutors and students.
Any damage, loss, or injury occurring during or as a result of tuition services.
Unauthorized access to user accounts due to negligence.
11. Termination of Accounts
Tuitionbd.org reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at its discretion for:
Violation of these terms.
Misuse of the platform.
Inappropriate conduct toward other users.
12. Amendments to Terms
Tuitionbd.org reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
